My client is a cutting edge technology aiding the world to be safer and more secure utilising AI and ML . They are looking for a Senior GoLang Engineer to join their team in Sydney, this role is a hybrid based role and has the ability to pay up to $160,000 plus super depending on experience.

About the role:
  • Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the software.
  • Work closely with the hardware and firmware teams to ensure seamless integration of our products and solutions.
  • The ability to mentor junior engineers.
  • Work across a cross functional team.
  • Have a focus on scalability and low latency.
  • Working closely with microservices and infrastructure as well as exposure with IoT network device.

About you:
  • Design, develop, and maintain software components using GoLang.
  • Write clean and well-documented code using best practices and coding standards.
  • Perform code reviews and give feedback to junior developers.
  • Have knowledge of Docker, GitLab and AWS.
  • Continuously learn and keep up to date with best practices.
  • Several years experience with GoLang.
  • The ability to work independently as well as in a team.
